Boston Symphony Orchestra Tickets for 20 Dollars. →
Well, 20 dollars plus a $5.50 processing fee. Still, let’s go next semester!
This hat looks like it’s from that movie: ‘Where the Wind...

(In reference to a ridiculous hat. She means “Gone With the Wind.”)
Christmas Eve 2008.
A lot of good food - turkey, which I can stomach because I wasn’t at Wellesley this past term to eat it up to two times a week; ham, hot pot, and this baked cabbage dish my mom always makes - and only minor amounts of family friend awkwardness. Things haven’t been that festive on that front since the kids got old enough to be picky about their friends and how to spend their time.

Blogger's Block.
This is quite unusual for me, being that I’ve been an unstoppable blogger and starter of new blogs since my young high school days, but I’ve had serious blogger’s block both here, on Twitter, and on my fashion blog. With the fashion thing, it’s understandable - the economy kind of kills my urge to shop - but I usually find plenty to mope about elsewhere.

Finally back in Calfornia! Still a bit jetlagged though.
My Last Day in London...
… Was more than a bit anticlimactic. I woke up fairly early and bought food from Tesco - my last trip there - because I didn’t have any left. Then I went to Uniqlo to make extra sure I didn’t want anything else from there because we don’t have it in Boston or in San Francisco. Via The Chicktionary: Haha, I guess I should be glad that I don’t get hives, at least.
Oops.
So I think I might be a bit of a giant flake when it comes to social stuff. This is strange, I would have thought I was fairly dependable. Who turns around any paper editing job a friend would like to throw at me within an hour if academic, within a day if application-related? (By the way I enjoy it, it hones my own editing skills, and I will not claim to be any special authority on the best way...
Cleaning the Slate, Again.
Maybe I just start blogs and post in them for that feeling of catharsis when I start deleting things and moving them around. I started two blogs in mid to late summer, one for fashion, and the one here, and both have either been moved or cleaned out in some way. I packed up the fashion blog to Blogspot where I continue to be boring and semi-personal. I cleaned this out though maybe two or three of...
